This is my blog, it’s not much but I’ll try to keep it updated a bit more so hopefully you will come back and have a read to see if anything is happening. Probably be a bit boring most of the time but hey my boring life might be interesting to you. READ ON!
Now is your chance to buy a cuppa tea for a writer, it will make you feel good inside, you may even want to stretch to a Gin & Tonic. Anyway if you want to keep me updating and adding more reviews and content a little help would be nice.
The chilli and mint tea went down well, it smelt lovely and malty, and had a camomile taste with a hit of mint and a tang of malt. It’s very relaxing and makes and excellent green tea. And very easy to make if you grow your own chillies. All you need to do is pick nice green leaves thread then on some cotton and hang in a warm dry place until they are crispy.
I’m also pickling some chillies so I’ll have to update on when they are ready to eat. And the dried chillies have worked out very well, some of the strength has gone from them but all the flavour is still there. Again both of these are easy to do at home, string chillies up threading the stalks on cotton and let them dry out completely, and for pickling them blanch for 10 seconds in boiling water and stick in sterilised jar full of vinegar.
Everything kind of whizzed by in a blur of WTF. Things are starting to calm down now, but only by a little bit. It was fun I had good times this year and New Years eve with good friends has been the best I have had in years. We got two new kittens just Mischief and Mayhem, both are super cute and very bouncy. I’ll get pictures up as soon as I can.
Present wise nothing to exciting by most people’s standards, I picked up expansions for the Gloom card game, a Draper screwdriver set and lots of little things that made me smile. But the best thing was I got to spend Christmas and New Year in good company.

It’s been a hectic few days, one of my cats passed away, it was fast and he wasn’t in pain. friends seem to be having even ore hell in their lives than me and the world slowly turns into 1984 level of crud.
Anyway the chillies are still flowering and producing fruit, so we’re now drying some out and also found that we can dry the chilli leaves and make Chilli and Spearmint tea. This is an experiment at first but if it goes well we may offer some out to friends or do a few special packs for sale. It seems the 69p (reduced) windowsill pot of chilli’s form Tesco has been a massive success and will keep us in chillies for sauces, stir fry’s, sandwiches and other meals as well as providing a nice green tea. Well let’s hope the tea turns out well this is the first experiment. And best of all everything is organic and home grown.
The Current political and government system is unsustainable and undemocratic, it’s time for the people to make a change to save the future from greed and corporate bullying.
We the people want a fair democratic governing system for the people by the people, NOT for big corporations by the rich elite. Structural changes to governments are needed to move towards authentic global social and financial equality.
We the people are opposed to CEOs of big corporations and banks given millions in bonuses after the government bails them out and let’s them off with billions in tax bills. We should NOT pay for the bank crisis because under a capitalist system strong companies survive weak companies die. These actions have brought about £120bn in unnecessary cuts, this is unacceptable.
We the people support others facing hardship brought about by the failings of governments. We are of all ethnicities, backgrounds, genders, generations, sexualities dis/abilities and faiths. We represent those are unable to express their voice, face violence and oppression because of their choices. We stand in solidarity and call for an end to the actions of corrupt governments and corporations. We stand together occupying the world.
After a few days and Photoshop I have a rendering of what the finished car might look like. This is with everything added to the exterior. Much like they do in Custom My Ride and West Coast Customs, this will be my template to modify a Ford KA and create something awesome looking. I’m not sure how I’m going to do the glitter coat, maybe a base metallic coat, a candy purple then a glitter lacquer to give it sparkle, the roof and bonnet with be matt black. This also comes with 16″ alloy and a 4″ suspension drop, body kit, spoiler, shark fin aerial, custom headlights and bonnet vents.
There is a lot of work to do but I have plenty of time to get it done and I think the end result will be fantastic, I have also added alternate colour just in case I change my mind.
Spending this weekend in a small cottage in the valley’s as Lydia is away with her mum for a few days. This morning I sat outside and had my tea and this was the view from my perch. The tea was good to.
My company for this weekend is Angharad, her Mam, four cats (Lee Lou, Veaer, Mismee, and Car) and one large English Mastiff Megan See below, she is rather large but as soft as anything.
I have also been growing some face fuzz for a change as it seems to work with my new glasses. Even though I don’t need them much I got them for driving and just to sharpen up the distance.
Anyway today has been mostly moving the chickens and chicken house, and playing hunt the duck eggs. I have also been roped into chopping up some branches for the fire, while having Regulation Tea Breaks. I think the plan it to hop out in a bit grab some bread and have a look at a possible house to rent round the corner.

By the title you can guess I never got round to writing the article on People Watching. However We kept the pumpkin seeds from Halloween with the idea of roasting them for a tasty snack. However they started to sprout so I’m drying a few off on the amp at the moment with the plan to get some nice pumpkins for next Halloween. So no tasty snack but hopefully a glut of nice big pumpkins for next Halloween.
I promise to get on with the article in the next few days, I have the images and a nice quote for it.
I was reading through some of my old articles picking out typos, and I’m feeling as though I should get some more of these written. I’ll try to get one done today or tomorrow depends how the day goes.
This is all good as the last few months I have not been in the right mind to do anything, thankfully everything is getting more settle and I’m feeling the mood to start writing again. It’s been a while since I have been in the right mid set to write anything more than a few paragraphs.
I’m also probably heading out this evening to meet with some friends and play some pirate themed board games. No Ninjas please.
